If your children haven't tried this trilogy yet, it's EXCELLENT. We just finished it this week, and would definitely recommend if you're looking for good, clean reads for them. It's loosely based on the life of King David with different names and places, but similar storyline. No language, no love storylines. Just squeaky clean and sometimes hilarious.
"Live the life that unfolds before you." This was the greatest takeaway for me. Often, we're waiting for something big to happen. What is God's will?! I'm supposed to do something GREAT! And it's literally the simple life, plain as day, right in front of us. Live that. That's the abundant life that God meant us to live in His power.
Anyways, some good stuff in these books. I know it's a children's series, but I did write down some good quotes...particularly about grace. So good. I will never be one to pass up a good children's book. :) There's always so much to learn!
