This is technically considered a children’s book, but I loved it! The main character starts the book as a 9-year-old boy. It takes place over the span of the Civil War and follows his family’s journey as they have sons fighting on both sides. It’s a very good read. So many good quotes in this one. Great for everyone, but boys will especially relate. You’ll enjoy this book if you like a good Civil War read.
