Red Scarf Girl: A Memoir of the Cultural Revolution

Sarah's Review

This is such a good and needful story, but not glamorous at all. You may think you are reading about America at some moments. The author does not gloss over events that occurred to her family and others around her. Good read, but not really a prettily tied up conclusion. This book is for you if you are looking to learn more about Communism and the Cultural Revolution.
