This is an allegorical type of short story that was highly influential in my life as a teenager. It’s an encouragement to young people to TRUST their Christian parents. The restrictions that are put on them, although seemingly unfair at times, are ultimately there for their good. Also it’s a good lesson in waiting for the BEST thing rather than fulfilling desires NOW! This is an excellent book to read through with your teen or to give to them as a gift. This book is for you if you are raising teenagers or are a teenager. Check out the sequels to this story as well!
