And there is nothing better I love than to give my mom an INCREDIBLE gift, but to tell you the truth, if I don\u2019t already have something in mind, I DREAD, (I mean really dread!!!) trying to come up with something exceptional. It feels like I\u2019m just “giving\u201d for the sake of having to, rather than giving a true, heartfelt, \u201cthis is so awesome, I can\u2019t wait till you open it,\u201d kind of gift. Soooooo\u2026.if you are stuck trying to figure out what to give mom like sometimes I am, maybe this roundup of gifts my mom and I have both thoroughly enjoyed, will give you a little help. \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n

The book itself is cute enough for d\u00e9cor and functional enough to help you learn to keep your plants alive. (Which is something I really need help with! Ha!) <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Audible Subscription<\/a>. You know how much I love Audible<\/a> for listening to books on the go. I love gifting this subscription! You can choose the amount of months you want to gift too (one, three, six or twelve)! So that makes it really convenient if you have a budget limit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Christianbook.com Gift Card. Sometimes there\u2019s nothing better than a gift card to a Christian bookstore, especially if your mom is looking for specific Christian author titles or even a Bible. I love Christianbook.com for purchases like this. And you can usually catch a deal too!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Hard copy books. Some people are all about hard copies. If that\u2019s the case, you should check out the book list or Amazon storefront for some of my favorite picks!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Kindle unlimited subscription. Or maybe she\u2019s a Kindle person. Kindle unlimited is nice, because there are a ton of free books that come with this subscription as well.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Blue tooth Speaker<\/a>. My mom actually got this Bose Bluetooth speaker for me probably ten years ago, and it literally gets used almost every day! It is probably one of my favorite gifts ever!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Smart Clock<\/a>. I have this listed here because we mainly use ours for playing music, and I love having this clock in our kitchen. You can connect it to Google Home and play your favorite apps and podcasts. It DOES NOT make or receive phone calls. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Spotify<\/a> or Pandora Subscription<\/a>. If you enter my mom\u2019s house, you will always be greeted with soft background music. She loves Pandora<\/a> and Spotify<\/a>, so I thought it would be a perfect gift to let her try the ad-free version. (It\u2019s been a winner!)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Number one, because it\u2019s the perfect gift that keeps on giving and number two, it\u2019s an easy way to get a starter going rather than trying to get one made from scratch. This one is nice and established and will produce some AHHHHMAZING bread. As an added bonus, you can watch Ballerina Farm on Instagram<\/a> making her dehydrated sourdough starter, so you can see the behind the scenes of their products and farm. So fun!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Sourdough Kit<\/a>. If you have the extra money to spend, and want to go above and beyond just the starter, you can get the entire sourdough kit, which includes two proofing baskets, a spatula for mixing your sourdough starter, a bench scraper for shaping and moving and a dehydrated \u201cWilla\u201d starter to get it all going. Fantastic option.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          An affordable Dutch Oven option<\/a>. It\u2019s possible to make bread without a Dutch Oven, but when a sourdough baker is ready, it\u2019s just an added bonus to be able to make your bread in a Dutch Oven. I like this option by Magnolia Home<\/a> because it\u2019s both pretty and functional without the $200-$300 price tag.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          A beautiful sourdough cook book<\/a>. My friend Clarita @skiesofparchmentblog<\/a> is always inspiring me with her beautiful sourdough creations, and I am always floored. She often references back to this book<\/a>, so I can officially say I\u2019ve been influenced. It\u2019s on it\u2019s way!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          For the Betty Crocker<\/h4>\n

            Hello Fresh Box<\/a>. I love gifting a Hello Fresh box. We enjoy these ourselves during extremely busy seasons when meal planning is kind of an after thought. It\u2019s nice to be able to eat something relatively healthy without having to plan and grocery shop. Having said that, it\u2019s really fun to be able to gift a box for someone else, ESPECIALLY if they are in a busy season. For Mom, I usually gift the smallest box that includes three meals for four people. They usually have some sort of deal going on for first time purchasers too!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            Meat Box. This is a fun one to gift too. Meat is so expensive these days, so being able to gift it to someone is an extra special blessing to them.             A Favorite Recipe Book. Nothing says \u201cI love your cooking\u201d like giving her a new cook book to try. My very favorite to gift is one of the Magnolia Table<\/a> Cook Books.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            Taste of Home Subscription<\/a>. When I was newly married, someone gifted this to me, and it was so fun to get every month! I found some of my very favorite recipes flipping through these pages.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            The Lazy Genius Kitchen<\/em><\/a>. This book is coming out on May 3rd. If you pre-order, you should (fingers crossed) get it on time to gift. I included this one because I found her first book, The Lazy-Genius Way<\/em><\/a>, to be so helpful to me. I know this one is going to be just as good. Besides, I\u2019ve participated in some of her pre-launching activities, and I\u2019m just so excited to read this one ASAP.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            A Williams-Sonoma gift card. This is one of my mom\u2019s favorite kitchen stores, so I know she\u2019s always happy to get some money to spend there.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            For the Coffee Enthusiast<\/h4>\n

              French Press<\/a>. This is actually one of my favorite gifts to recommend for Father\u2019s day, but I know some ladies who love their French Press too.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Coffee Bean or Grounds Subscription. For the die hard coffee people, you can keep them supplied with coffee for a year! Here are some ideas here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Gift Cards. Honestly, this is my favorite to both give and get! Ha! You can never go wrong with a gift card to a favorite coffee shop. Panera<\/a>, Starbucks<\/a>, or Dunkin<\/a>. (Or their favorite local coffee shop.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              For the Lover of Beauty and Home Decor<\/h4>\n

                Magazine Subscriptions! If your mom is a magazine person, this is a really fun one to gift. So much beauty wrapped up into one little book. Try the Magnolia Journal Subscription<\/a> or Southern Living subscription<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                Home D\u00e9cor Books. Not only are these beautiful to look at, but they are perfect coffee table books too! My favorite ones to gift are: Styled<\/em><\/a> by Emily Henderson (a favorite for practical tips), The Nesting Place<\/em><\/a> by Maquillen Smith (a favorite for budget friendly ideas), Cozy Minimalist Home<\/em><\/a> by Maquillen Smith (for almost a minimalist inspiration), Homebody<\/em><\/a> by Joanna Gaines (for practical tips but especially for beautiful inspiration pictures).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                Gift Cards. If you\u2019d like to get your mom a d\u00e9cor item, but you think it would be best if she picked it out, you can\u2019t go wrong with a gift card to a good home d\u00e9cor store. Favorite go-to\u2019s are: Home Goods, Kirkland\u2019s, Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, Target, Lowe\u2019s, Magnolia.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                A trip to Texas! If you have so much money, that you don\u2019t know what to do with it (lol), plan a girls\u2019 trip to visit Magnolia! How fun would that be?! <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

It\u2019s one of those things that would be fun \u201cjust to try one time.\u201d And since many people may not try it for themselves since it may seem too extravagant, giving it to them as a gift is a perfect solution. And if none of that is true for your mom, and she just loves her clothes, then this is the PERFECT gift.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                  Gift Cards. I will never stop recommending gift cards! What is one of her favorite places to shop for clothes? Talbots? Christopher & Banks? Goodwill? Macy\u2019s? T.J. Maxx? You can\u2019t go wrong if you land on their favorite.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                  Jewelry. Jewelry is so fun. Depending on style you can go so many directions with this one. A couple of my favorites are Made by Mary<\/a> and Sage and Clay Designs<\/a>. You can also just search jewelry on Etsy and find just the perfect style for Mom.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  For the Gung-ho Thrifter<\/h4>\n

                    Thred-up Gift Card<\/a>. I\u2019ve talked about it before, but I love ThredUP so much. I\u2019ve gotten so many nice things from there. If your mom loves the thrill of the hunt from her own couch, ThredUP is the perfect way to go.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                  2. \n

                    Goodwill Gift Card. Don\u2019t bash. I know several ladies who would be giddy at getting a gift card to Goodwill! <\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                    Thrifting Day with Mom. What better gift than to spend time with Mom? Look up all the different local thrift stores (or non-local if you\u2019re feeling it) and make a day of it. Spend the day hunting for treasure, and then buy lunch for her!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

                    For the Titus Two Mentor<\/h4>\n

                      Journaling Bible. If your mom doesn\u2019t have a journaling Bible yet, this would be a FANTASTIC gift. There are so many options to choose from, but we\u2019ll stick with beautiful and simple. For a beautiful version, go with a Beautiful Word Bible<\/a>. There is not as much writing space as with these others, but it sure is pretty to look at. For a simple version, go with either the Notetaking Bible<\/a> or a Journal the Word<\/a> Bible. These are two of my very favorites.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                    2. \n

                      Erin\u2019s Scripture Memory Cards. If you\u2019ve followed me for a minute on Instagram, you know I rave about these cards from my friend Erin. They are high-quality and GORGEOUS. And to top it off, they are KJV! I\u2019ve spent years looking for high quality KJV cards and have never been successful\u2026.until last year. I am so thankful Erin decided to put these out into the world! There are a couple different choices\u2026the Women of Purpose cards<\/a> are a business card size. You can get these with a beautiful floral pouch to store them in. The Promise cards<\/a> (my personal favorite) are a bigger size. You can even get a stand to go with them for displaying a favorite or meaningful promise.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                      A good Devotional Book. I love a good devotional book. Here are a few favorites. Ponder the Path<\/em><\/a> by Francie Taylor. (Anything by Francie Taylor<\/a> is a good choice.) What Do I Know About My God<\/em><\/a> by Mardi Collier. Women of the Word<\/em><\/a> by Amy Edwards. Glimpses of God<\/em><\/a> by Debi Pryde. (Debi is another author you can\u2019t go wrong with.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

                      For the Mom who Doesn\u2019t Need Anything<\/h4>\n
                        \n
                      1. \n

                        Amazon<\/a> or Visa gift card. You can\u2019t go wrong with Amazon. A one stop shop for all of the above! And I bet, if she does use Amazon, she probably has something sitting in her cart waiting to buy. (Don\u2019t we all!)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                      2. \n

                        Gift Amazon Prime<\/a>. Did you know you can give Amazon Prime as a gift?!?! If she doesn\u2019t have it yet, this is another fun one to give. Between quick shipping and free movies, it may be a perfect choice. You can even choose between three months or twelve months.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                      3. \n

                        Nail Outing or Mani\/Pedi gift card. Oh goodness! Pedicures are my very favorite. And if I can do it with Mom, that\u2019s even better!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                      4. \n

                        Massage. How about pampering mom with a Spa Day? This one is great especially for those moms that do a lot of physical labor.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                      5. \n

                        Shari\u2019s Berries<\/a>, Edible Arrangements<\/a>, or Flowers. I love these ideas, and I personally always ask for chocolate covered strawberries for Mother\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                      6. \n

                        Shopping Date, Coffee Date or Lunch Date. At the end of the day, our moms are so happy just to spend time with us. If you\u2019re really on the struggle bus this year because you have no good ideas, take her out and spend time TOGETHER! Spoil her and let her know how much she matters to you!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
