I never knew you cried out desperately to God when you were at your wit\u2019s end with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I didn\u2019t know you had teary conversations with dad into the wee hours of the morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I had no idea you fell into bed exhausted at night hoping for a good night\u2019s sleep and enough strength to do it all over again tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I never knew you offered up literally thousands of prayers on my behalf!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I didn\u2019t know you searched scripture to meet your need in \u201cthat season\u201d and desperately clung to those promises when I was wayward.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I never knew you had such bliss watching me open presents on Christmas morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I didn\u2019t know you loved making my favorite breakfast or how much joy you got just seeing me happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I never knew you were so upset at the thought of me being too big to sit on your lap anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I didn\u2019t know your heart tugged when I asked you to stop doing the Easter jelly bean trail for me because I was too grown up for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I had no idea that a lot of times you said yes, when deep down you really really wanted to say no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I didn\u2019t know how much of your valuable time you invested into my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I never knew how much you desperately, completely, unconditionally love me. (And still do.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
