This is an excellent twist on a great classic. I think it\u2019s a great addition to a family library for sure! Highly recommend!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3NVXtnn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>The Sophie Mouse Collection<\/em><\/a>. This is a fantastic early readers set! E loves these books! You can get this boxed set, or you can also buy the titles separately. (But not all of the titles are part of the deal. You\u2019ll have to sift through them.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/35RGqS9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>The Secret of the Hidden Scrolls<\/em><\/a> (boxed set) by M. J. Thomas. We got these for E for Christmas this past year, and she absolutely LOVES them! They are great for all readers, but may be a good option to pique the interest of early readers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3syQg2W\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Carry On, Mr. Bowditch<\/em><\/a> by Jean Lea Latham<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3xPa8my\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>The Golden Goblet<\/em><\/a> by Eloise Jarvis McGraw. This is one of our favorites so far this year!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3Ho6KSQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>The Sign of the Beaver<\/em><\/a> by Elizabeth George Speare. Love this author. Every book I\u2019ve read by her has been excellent and clean.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3zAWxjO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>A Long Walk to Water<\/em><\/a> by Linda Sue Park. This is a must read for middles. Might be a little too overwhelming for littles. But I\u2019d highly recommend this as a read aloud. There are so many great talking points! This one could also fit well under the adults and teens books too.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3NQkIzb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Number the Stars<\/em><\/a> by Lois Lowry. Excellent read, but I think there is a few instances of language if I remember correctly. Check the book list for more details. This is one of the first books I read this year, and it was so SO convicting! This book is another worth your time. A favorite from 2021 and on the book list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3mLuPt8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Night<\/em><\/a> by Elie Wiesel. A very moving book, but some language. Another moving story, but again, some language. You can read my review of it on the <a href=\"https:\/\/faithfulandflourishing.org\/staging\/9315\/book-lists\">book list<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3JeoCzb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Evidence Not Seen<\/em><\/a> by Darlene Deibler Rose. A life-long favorite and one I\u2019ve read many times over.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3gDV7uc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Unbroken<\/em><\/a> (Young Adult Version) by Laura Hillenbrand. The <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3stUgSt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">adult version<\/a> is part of this deal too, but the young adult version will be cleaned up and more appropriate for teens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Historical Fiction<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3O7MtCQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>The Witch of Blackbird Pond<\/em><\/a> by Elizabeth George Speare. This is an excellent book. Love this one. A must-read for women! A must-read for Christian homes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Secular Self-Development<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3LijITk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Atomic Habits<\/em><\/a> by James Clear. This is one of THE BEST habit books out there.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/335sNha\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Lazy Genius Way<\/em><\/a> by Kendra Adachi. Highly recommend this book. So many practical ideas you can implement right away! And we\u2019re going through it in the book club right now! So if you love it so much that you want it in your library, now is the time to get it!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3aPQ3TX\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>The Lazy Genius Kitchen<\/em><\/a> by Kendra Adachi. Apply all the lazy genius principles to your kitchen. Another excellent, practical book.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3LbSKNg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Jim Trelease\u2019s Read-Aloud Handbook<\/em><\/a> by Jim Trelease. Excellent advice and encouragement for having your home filled with reading aloud and books galore!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Actvities and Games<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The first few are several we have and love. The last few are what I\u2019ve got my eye on for later!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/34EqMsW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Melissa and Doug Dinosaur Floor Puzzle<\/a>.
